![]() ![]() I made this 3D stick heart shaped artwork to complement a set of three heart shaped artworks that Bee already had hanging alongside her toddler bed.įor the “canvas”, I upcycled the packaging from a new sous vide machine that Mr Banya recently bought. An artist is born.Remember all those sticks that JJ and Bee played with in their Sticks Sensory Bin? Well, afterwards I couldn’t resist getting a little bit crafty with some of them… “Oh, just a sphere,” I say, casually, before I whip out my 3D masterpiece. I’ll be that person sitting at lunch with a friend and ‘doodling’ on a napkin. ![]() Seriously, tell me that didn’t blow you away!?! I can’t wait to try this one myself, and once I’ve figured it out, I’m totally using it to impress people, like, all the time. Not only does it give me the chance to draw something super impressive (that people can actually tell what it is), but it gives me ideas for how to draw other things! Take a look! I think that’s why I was so jazzed to find this super easy 3D tutorial. Most of my people end up looking like Picasso-esque stick figures, and if I try to go beyond drawing a house with a sun in the background, people always comment on how ‘cute’ my five-year-old’s drawing is…and what is it, exactly? So I’m not the greatest, but that doesn’t take away from how much I love it. I’ve always loved to draw, but never been great at it.
